It is an NPC that promotes Participation, Protection, Prevention, Partnership, Disengagement and Reintegration of children, women and families directly affected by conflict.
What is the minimum age to volunteer?
LOPECO has 4 cohorts for peace volunteers (Peaceteer).:
Cohort 1: 18-25 Years
Cohort 2: 26-35 Years
Cohort 3: 36-50 Years
Cohort 4: 51-Above
How do you measure your peacebuilding success?

Is LOPECO one of the collaborators in localizing the NAP on Women Peace & Security?
LOPECO is one of the pioneering civil society organisations that continue to localise the NAP on Women Peace & Security in innovative ways through the community, schools and peace-building games. LOPECO focuses on the four pillars of the NAP-WPs with pillar two as the major lead.
Does LOPECO have an online chatroom?
LOPECO started an online chatroom in 2021 via WhatsApp and launched a PeaceKona Network that hosts peace clubs all over South Africa in all provinces & beyond.
